PAL Moves Cebu - Los Angeles Flight to May 16

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has adjusted its relaunch of its Cebu to Los Angeles direct flights from May 2 to May 16 after filing for inventory changes. In a report from Routes Online, reservation between May 2 to May 14 has been made unavailable and the first available will be May 16.

PAL's three times weekly flights between will be utilizing the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Based on the schedule provided by Routes Online, PR152 departs Cebu at 9:00pm local time and arrives Los Angeles at 7:30pm local time. The return flight PR153 departs Los Angeles at 10:30pm local time and arrives Manila 5:00am local time.

An advantage of the direct Cebu to Los Angeles flight gives PAL passengers from the Visayas region particularly in Cebu to enjoy direct flights to the United States mainland from Cebu, without the need to transit via Manila airport or another other airport. 

It is also reported that when the CoviD-19 pandemic is over, passengers may prefer to take direct flights from one airport to another instead of taking flights with stopovers in other airports.
