PAL Mounts Additional Special Flights to Los Angeles and New York

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is mounting more special flights to the United States to repatriate Filipinos who want to return to the Philippines. The airline is operating a total of 7 flights from Los Angeles between May 1 to 10 while it will also be operating a total of 5 flights from New York between May 4 to 10.

PAL is mounting additional special flights everyday from Los Angeles (LAX) to Manila from May 5 all the way to May 10. PR5103 departs LAX at 11:11pm local time and arrives Manila at 4:45am local time. Flights from New York (JFK) to Manila are on May 4, 6, 8 to 10 with PR5127 departing JFK at 7:15pm local time and arriving Manila at 11:45pm local time.

United States flight have always been one of PAL's most lucrative flights due to the number of Filipinos who travel to or live in there. The additional special flights are to accomodate Filipino nationals/Philippine passport holders, their foreign spouses and children, and accredited officials of foreign governments and international organizations, who want to return to the Philippines.
