As Philippine Airlines (PAL) prepares to resume commercial passenger services this June, the airline has filed some changes to its schedule, according to
Routesonline.
The airline suspended commercial passenger services due to the coronavirus pandemic which brought about a drop in passenger air travel demand and government imposed travel restrictions.
Here are some changes the airline made to its regional flight schedule
Manila – Ho Chi Minh City 3 weekly A321 effective June 17
Manila – Hong Kong 2 weekly A321 effective June 10
Manila – Jakarta 2 weekly A321 effective June 13
Manila – Kuala Lumpur 1 weekly A321 effective June 13
Manila – Osaka Kansai 2 weekly A321 effective June 22
Manila – Singapore 3 weekly A321 effective June 3
Manila – Taipei Taoyuan 2 weekly A321 effective June 19
Manila – Tokyo Haneda 2 weekly A321 effective June 22
Manila – Xiamen 1 weekly A321 effective June 3
According to Routesonline, other routes continue to display normal schedules, however reservations on certain flights are not available for reservation.
The airline’s planned service resumption for Cebu – Los Angeles route was once again postponed, now scheduled from July 2, 2020.
PAL's resumption of regular passenger flights starting June are contingent on factors like status of community quarantine in certain areas, government imposed travel restrictions, passenger demand, and health situation in the countries the airline serves.
