AirSwift will be first airline in the world to install in-seat barriers

In order to ensure the health safety of its passengers on board, AirSwift is installing in-seat transparent barriers in order to protect passengers from large particles like saliva that may carry viruses.

Once completed, AirSwift will be the first airline in the world to make use of such barrier and seat modification.

Each cabin seat will have a 3-sided protective pod that minimizes the possibility of droplet transmission from the passenger beside or behind. According to the airline, the pods are still subject to approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

Nevertheless, it is a very innovative product that will give passengers more confidence in the cabin with regards to their safety.
