While travel for leisure is still not yet allowed, the demand for more domestic flights is on a rise due to Filipinos and OFWs who want to return to their home provinces after being stranded or have arrived in Manila but underwent quarantine as part of health protocols and biosecurity measures.
It is foreseen that domestic travel will make a faster recovery than international travel as international travel demand greatly depends on a country's travel restrictions and general health condition as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
