PHL task force approves increase in inbound intl' passenger capacity at three major airports

The National Task Force for CoviD-19 (NTF) has given approval for the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) to increase the capacity of inbound international passengers at the country's three major international airports. 

The NTF has allowed the CAAP to release a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) for increase of inbound international passengers in Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA), and Clark International Airport (CIA).

In a statement by the CAAP, Defense Secretary and chairman of the NTF for COVID-19 Delfin Lorenzana has allowed the gradual increase of daily passenger capacity restrictions of the three major international airports, taking into consideration the respective airports' COVID-19 testing capacities, and subject to close and full coordination with airport authorities.

With the increase, NAIA will now be allowed to accept 3,000 inbound international passengers daily, while MCIA and CIA will have a 1,500 daily international passenger restrictions.
