The airline is looking to start flights between Manila and Clark to and from Puerto Princesa and Busuanga.

The airline was established in July 22, 2019 formed in order to meet the increasing demand of the Philippine tourism industry with targeted destinations, particularly to Puerto Princesa and Busuanga in Palawan.

Covid-19 pandemic

It is unsure when Sunlight Air will particularly start operations given how the coronavirus pandemic has greatly affected the tourism industry.

Major airlines in the Philippines like Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and AirAsia have resumed commercial domestic flights but on a very limited number due to challenges from the number of testing facilities in airports.
