PAL continues to fly international to four continents amidst MECQ

Despite the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) imposed over the National Capital Region (NCR), Philippine Airlines continues to operate international flights in and out the country.

The airline operates 40 weekly flights from Manila, which include non-stop long routes to and from the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom.

For North America, PAL maintains flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Honolulu, Vancouver and Toronto, as well as to Guam.

PAL’s Japan network serves Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Tokyo via both Narita and Haneda airports, and includes a bi-weekly service from Cebu to Tokyo Narita.

PAL also continues to serve regular flights to the Middle East  which include Dubai, Riyadh, Doha and Dammam. Other international PAL flights include London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur. Sydney and Bangkok are served occasionally, but at a limited frequency in compliance with ongoing travel restrictions or quarantine facility limitations.

Under the MECQ, domestic flights to and from Manila are suspended until August 18. PAL domestic flights from Cebu and Clark remain unaffected. International flights are allowed on a limited basis, subject to strict government guidelines in line with the testing and quarantine capacity at the gateway airport.
