Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to bring you more flights and destinations this 2020. The airline will be flying to more domestic and international destinations from its hubs in Manila, Cebu, and Davao. PAL opened 2020 by launching a new service last January 3, their Davao to Iloilo flight, as more passengers are eagerly anticipating more routes and destinations.
PAL will be introducing direct flights from Manila to Perth, Australia beginning March 20 four time weekly utilizing the Airbus A321NEO LR aircraft. PAL used to fly to Perth via Darwin in 2013. This will be the airline's fourth destination in Australia as it currently serves direct flights to Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
Starting March 29, PAL will be launching Davao to Manado, Indonesia; and Zamboanga to Kota-Kinabalu thrice weekly flights utilizing its De Havilland DHC-8-400 Dash-8 (formerly known as Bombardier Q400) turboprop aircraft.
Last but not least, PAL will be reviving its non-stop Cebu to Los Angeles direct flights thrice a week utilizing the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft beginning May 2. This non-stop service will directly connect the Visayas region to the United States mainland. The Cebu-Los Angeles service will provide passengers flying between the Visayas region and the United States the convenience of a "no-stop over" service where they will no longer need to fly to other Asian countries before taking a flight to the United States. PAL used to operate Cebu-Los Angeles non-stop service from 2016 to 2017.
More PAL flights are expected to be announced in the coming months.
