Philippine Airlines (PAL), in compliance with the Philippine government's enhanced community quarantine to halt the spread of the COVID-19, has cancelled all its domestic flights effective March 17 until April 12, 2020. All flights will resume on April 13, 2020.
PAL however continues to operate international flights until March 19, 2020 and shall announce the status of flights from March 20 until April 12, 2020 as the airline complies with travel restrictions set in the quarantine rules and presently coordinates with government authorities on the relevant implementing details.
The flag carrier's Manila Airport Ticket Office at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 will remain open from 2:00 AM until 10:00 PM daily, 7 days a week., while all other PAL Ticket Offices in Metro Manila will be closed to comply with the quarantine directives.
In view also of the 'social distancing' guidelines set on the quarantine rules, the airline request all passengers to consider deferring any requests for rebooking until after 12 April 2020. The airline said it expects a high volume of queries and transactions at the Ticket Office as well as the Hotline.
PAL however requests for the understanding and consideration of all as it deals with the challenge of handling an unprecedented number of cancelled flights over this quarantine period.
