Budget airline Philippines AirAsia (PAA) has announced that it is bringing back its Clark (CRK) to Kalibo (KLO) flights. At the same time, the airline is also increasing frequency between Clark and Caticlan (MPH), the gateway to the world-famous Boracay island. PAA will be flying from Clark to Kalibo three times weekly and additional flights from Clark to Caticlan have began last October 17.
In a media release from PAA, Chief Executive Officer Ricardo Isla said, “Our additional services are in response to the increased demand for flights to Boracay, especially this holiday season. Guests can fly from Clark, the less effort airport to either Kalibo or Caticlan, giving them more flexibility and options. Boracay is a top holiday destination and we are proud to contribute to the region’s reemerging tourism since its closure last year.”
