It was announced today that the Philippines has confirmed its very first case of Novel Coronavirus (nCoV). A Chinese woman who hails from Wuhan arrived from Hong Kong was confirmed to have nCoV by the country's Department of Health (DOH). In the midst of the virus spreading worldwide, may airlines have suspended flights to mainland China temporarily.
To name some are British Airways, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Swiss, Finnair, Jetstar, Korean Airlines, and United Airlines. The move comes as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the virus.
Now that the virus is already in the Philippines, do you think its time that all Philippine-based carriers should suspend flights to China temporarily?
